The Strosnider family is like a second family to mine and Grandpa Joe is truly like a grandpa to me! I knew that my Grandpa Joe had battled and passed away from cancer, but I had no idea he battled Lymphoma. I am running for my Grandpa and for the Strosnider family!
I also learned this week that a couple who mentored me when I was a teen, the Compton family, were faced this past Christmas with their son's diagnosis of Leukemia. Elijah is my team mate and I am honored to run for him and the Compton family!
Donations to the Leukemia and Lymphona Society make incredible impacts in the lives of family's like the Strosnider family and the Compton family. As of today I have raised $1500 (50% of my goal) with your help and I can not thank you all enough! I race April 26, 2010, that's a little over two months away.
